Drag one cell and the fill handle copies. Select two cells first and it works out the step between them, then carries on: 1 and 2 becomes 3, 4, 5; 5 and 10 becomes 15, 20, 25; Jan and Feb becomes Mar.
This is the same handle doing something different depending on what you hand it, which is why it is worth two exercises rather than one.
A2 holds 1 and A3 holds 2. Select both cells together, then drag the fill handle down so column A numbers the weeks all the way to A8.

Click a cell and type. Enter commits, Tab moves right, F2 edits in place, Ctrl+Z undoes. Drag the small square at the corner of a cell to fill. Ctrl+Enter checks your answer.
