Copy and paste a block of cells
100%
Select a range, press Ctrl+C, click one cell, press Ctrl+V. The cell you click is where the top-left of the block lands. You do not need to select a destination the same size as what you copied.
Ctrl+X cuts instead of copying, which removes the original. Keep that difference in mind: it matters a great deal once the cells contain formulas, as a later exercise shows.
Copy the three-row block A2:B4 and paste it so that it starts at D2.

Click a cell and type. Enter commits, Tab moves right, F2 edits in place, Ctrl+Z undoes. Drag the small square at the corner of a cell to fill. Ctrl+Enter checks your answer.
