Find and replace a stray character

Data that arrives from another system often carries a character it should not, a stray symbol, a thousands separator in the wrong place, a trailing unit. Any of them turns a number into text, and text does not add up.

Find and Replace works across a whole range at once. Replacing the offending character with nothing leaves a clean numeral, and the column starts behaving like numbers again.
